With over 10 years of diverse experience in financial services, it is Blake's responsibility to introduce existing TD clients, as well as valued prospective clients to the world of private wealth management, and to bring to life all of what TD Wealth can do to simplify the lives of the organization's top relationships.
Blake seeks to find out what truly matters most to the client, and how TD Wealth's platform can support each unique individual, family and organization. From core banking and credit, through tailored investment management, all the way to medium-long term considerations like Will & Estate planning, Blake is there to act as lead and guide of the wealth strategy more broadly.
Blake entered into financial services in 2007, and performed in varying roles within retail, commercial and corporate banking on both sides of the balance sheet. Most recently, three years as Director, Treasury Management with TD's National Accounts Group. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Political Science, from the University of Victoria, and has completed the educational requirements necessary to be licensed to sell and trade Mutual Funds, ETF's, Stocks and Fixed Income Securities in Canada.
Outside of work, Blake sits on the board of a commercial real-estate operator in southern Saskatchewan. He is involved in the community in a volunteer capacity with JDRF, Canadian Blood Services and TD lead events. He regularly works with young people, helping to prepare them to present well in the workplace. In his spare time, you will find him exploring the mountains - most recently California's Sierras - on the back of a dirt bike, or engaged in some form of physical activity.
