Working together to help you achieve what truly matters to you

My Role at TD Wealth

As a Wealth Advisor, it is my responsibility to guide existing and prospective TD customers through the process of transitioning to the world of TD Wealth (a place where specialists work to help simplify - and add value to - the lives of high-net-worth individuals and families).

I do not manage wealth or investments. Instead, I meet with clients to learn about their values, priorities and goals and then find the appropriate TD specialist to bring into the conversation. Whether it's a GIC specialist, a Will & Estate Planner, or an alternative investment guru, TD Wealth has a great team of industry professionals that I can turn to in order to provide what I believe to be world class service and advice to my customers.

I use a behavioural finance approach to get to the root of client needs. This approach often leaves clients more aware of their financial blind spots as well as how some of their actions may be sabotaging their investing decisions. To learn more about behavioural finance, please peruse the magazine below.

About Me

I have been in the financial services industry for over 10 years and have held a variety of positions in both retail and commercial banking. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Business Law and a Master of Arts in Legal Studies, both from Carleton University. I have also completed a multitude of courses and exams in financial planning, leading me most notably to obtaining the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.

Outside of work, I volunteer as a Mentor/Business Advisor to entrepreneurial students at U of C's Haskayne School of Business and try to stay as physically active as I can, preferably rock climbing, running, practicing yoga or cycling around the city. I am also an avid traveler; running to the airport whenever my schedule allows!

Why I Find This Work Meaningful

One of my biggest joys in life is helping people. Being a Wealth Advisor at TD Wealth Private Wealth Management allows me to help clients uncover their goals, (re)discover their priorities and focus in on what's important to them. As fast-paced as banking can seem, helping people build and realize their wealth strategy never seems like work to me.

Below, you will find a copy of our TD Private Wealth Management information booklet, showcasing a taste of what we have to offer. I would love the opportunity to discuss it in further detail with you.

One problem per visit?

It’s a question I hear from doctors and patients alike. There are so many factors to consider that it arguably becomes impossible to answer. In fact, the best answer to the question of restricting patients to one issue per visit may indeed be: “It depends.”
